They're divorced. They split when I was like 14. But yea, both my mom and dad are pretty cool in their own ways. I take alot after my dad personality wise, and that seems to piss my mom off ALOT. But despite some issues my mom has, she's a great woman overall, my parents have really given the world to me and I can't thank them enough.

I've got an exciting two weeks ahead of me.  This upcoming weekend, I'm going to Bit's Birthday Party/Halloween Party on Friday night, and then attending Furloween on Saturday in Orlando.  And the following weekend, Tank and I decided to have our own Halloween party on the 31st, and I'm really going all out this year on my costume.  

On another note we have been having some amazing cold weather lately, I'm just hoping it comes back soon.  Man I love October :3

So yea, I'd figure I'd make a post about this in case some of ya'll out there haven't heard, and I think and I would rather handle it this way rather then having to retell it to every one of our friends who doesn't know.

So, after three wonderful years of being together, Tank and I decided mutually to go our separate ways on Wednesday.  It's been a really tough decision for us to come to, but we knew that it was probably in both of our best interests that this happened.  Please don't think that this split is due to us simply falling out of love, as that is not the case.  Tank and I still love and care for each other very much, but our lives were going in two very different directions and maintaining a healthy relationship with both of our schedules working horribly against each other was pretty much impossible.  

I'm 18 years old and just starting college in a few weeks, so I have alot of things in my life that I still need to experience, and Tank has alot of things in his life that he wants to figure out as well.  I have always considered Tank to be my best friend, and after spending three happy years with him, I'm  pretty sure that he's the one person who really knows me the best.  Because of this, Tank and I have promised to continue to be friends and be there for each other when in need.  Right now I'm still pretty shattered, but hey, you can't expect a long-term relationship like this to end without any pain, and I'm trying to remain as optimistic as I can in between little moments of breakdowns.  I made the good decision of going over to Feros' house after this all happened Wed. evening and I was in such good hands, and I really appreciate Feros, Havoc, JP, Arc, Sassy, Sam, and Hoss for taking such good care of me these past few days, you guys are such a comfort to me in this hard time.  So yea, I'm hurtin' a lot right now, but time heals all things, and I have plenty of awesome friends to help me through this.



PS. If you're going to try to use this journal as an opportunity to talk badly about Tank, please do not post it here.  As I stated before, I still and always will care for Tank very much, and as such, I will not take kindly to any insults or obscenities thrown at him on here.  Thanks :)

 So, I had a freakin blast this weekend in Kissimee at Megaplex 2009.  As much as many people seem to hate on the smaller cons, I really freakin enjoyed myself because I met so many new and amazing people as well as connected with many florida furs that I had previously known through IRC or whatev.

Tomorrow mornin I'm heading out with Hondo to Metrocon in Tampa, FL.  I plan on registering for the day when it opens and romping around in suit for the day.  It always is so much fun to suit at an anime con, lol, the reactions you get are very mixed and pretty amusing.  I'm excited, haha!

SOoooooo, I left FL to head to New York City last Tuesday and I'm in the hotel lobby atm waiting to go to the airport to return home.  I'll be home again sometime early this afternoon and I'll be able to post much more about my trip and how everything went, but for now I'll just say that it was AMAZING!  This city is incredible.  However, as fun as it was, I'm ready to come home....I miss Tank :(

I'm leaving tuesday morning for New York.  I'm spending a full week in the big apple and it's my first time going, I wanted to ask those of you who are frequent travelers or have been to new york before, do you have any tips as to what I should bring/prepare for?

So Elliots was freakin amazing, first of all.  I got to hang out with and meet;some really awesome people: Havoc,Edge, Wanikami, Feros, Hondo, Bit,;Koze, Travis, Killy, Media, Soundhound, Arti, Trigger, Apollo, and Ekko.  Thank youso much for making this event so much fun for me. The event was so well-coordinated and awesome, I was really pleased with the way the event was run and the amount of people that ended up showing up.Artist alley was just full of talent: Likeshine, Sophie, Kaji, Nimrais, Killy, Havoc, Meesh, SolidASP,and Gideon were all up in there doing their thang. I got some awesome art done that I'll do a big post of later but I just wanted to thank everyone for showin me and awesome time :D

Sometimes when I've had a long and tiresome week I like to unwind by being all girly and pampering myself.  I really enjoy feeling girly and sexy, so to celebrate the conclusion of my last IB exam (IM DONE BITCH), I decided to just relax and take care of myself. 

I took a nice long bath with aromatherapy candles and fragrances, not to mention epsom salt to loosen up my muscles.  I'm taking care of my skin so much with scrubs and moisturizers and it feels GREAT.  Know I'm all unwound and relaxed and feeling fantastic.

As school is coming to a close I've been feeling kind of low lately.
I don't get to see Tank much during the week because of his hours, which has been kind of depressing and lousy.  I'm so used to having him around all the time that I get really lonely when I can't see him.  He's only off like two days during the week and with school and prom to worry about it's been hard to spend some real quality time with him.  I dunno, maybe it's just my hormones talking :P.  I miss him so much :(

Anyway, school is almost completely over for me, I have my IB exams starting monday and lasting for three weeks of May and then I'm free. :D
